Nicole Hennington

Nicole Hennington spent her first two decades in Arizona where she graduated from The University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Finance. During this time, she studied with Chuthis, Nederlands Dans Theatre, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, New Dialect, and Ate9. Upon graduation, Nicole joined GroundWorks DanceTheater in Cleveland, Ohio where she danced in new works by James Gregg, Peter Chu, Antonio Brown, Brian Brooks, Hannah Garner, Robyn Mineko-Williams, Adam Barruch, and others. Nicole attended Springboard Dans Montreal in the summer of 2022 where she worked with RUBBERBAND Dance Group and UNA Productions. Nicole joined NW Dance Project in January 2023 and has danced original roles in new works by Joseph Hernandez, Ihsan Rustem, Sarah Slipper, Caroline Finn, Bryan Arias, Nicole Von Arx, Serge Bennathan, and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano. As a choreographer, Nicole was commissioned by GroundWorks DanceTheater in 2022 and was selected as a choreography fellow at Carmel Dance Festival in 2023 and at Jacob’s Pillow in 2024.
Nicole currently resides in Phoenix, AZ where she finds joy from educating and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
